On Friday we had a session with Pete Fraser, the head examiner of Media Studies and Jake Wynne, who directed many popular music videos. Pete started off with a presentation of his tips and advice. I have listed below what I thought the best advice and tips were that he gave us:
Storyboard everything so that no time is wasted when filming
Become familiar with the equipment before filming to ensure less mistakes are made
Shoot more than you think as some shots might not work
When editing add effects last after the footage is ordered
To do the Digipack early on so that it matches the theme of the music video
